Acceptable Use Policy

This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to everything you submit to yayvid, including prompts, uploaded files and the content you generate.

Prohibited content

You may not use the Service to create, upload or share:

1. Sexual or adult content — pornography, sexually explicit or suggestive material or nudity, including sexualised images or videos of real people. Adult content is not allowed in any form, as input or as output.
2. Violence and gore — graphic violence, content that promotes or glorifies violence, self-harm or terrorism.
3. Hate speech — content that attacks or demeans people based on protected characteristics.
4. Content unsafe for children — any sexualisation of minors or content that endangers children. We report such material to the relevant authorities.
5. Impersonation and non-consensual likeness — realistic depictions of real people without their consent, replacing a real person's face or body with someone else's, or content that impersonates a person or organisation or could be mistaken for a real person's own words or actions.
6. Photos without permission — photos of anyone who has not given you permission to use them here; photos of public figures or celebrities; photos of anyone under 18 without their parent's or legal guardian's permission.
7. Copyright and trademark infringement — content that infringes others' intellectual property.

Prohibited behaviour

• Illegal activity, fraud, phishing, malware or spam.
• Attempting to bypass content filters, rate limits or security controls.
• Automated or bulk access except through features we provide for that purpose.

Uploading photos of people

Before every upload you confirm that you have permission from everyone in the photo to use it here — and, for anyone under 18, that the permission comes from their parent or legal guardian. We record when you confirmed. The Service applies AI video effects to text and still images only: it does not accept videos of people and never replaces one person's face or body with another's.

Automated moderation of everything you submit and everything we make

Every prompt and every uploaded photo is checked by automated moderation before generation starts, every intermediate result is checked before the next step uses it, and every final result is checked before it is shown to you. Content that fails a check is refused, the charge is refunded, and the file is deleted — after a short period in which our team may review it. If the moderation service is temporarily unavailable, your request waits until it can be checked; nothing is ever delivered unchecked. We keep moderation logs (service used, result, time, a hash of the file) to investigate reports and improve our filters. Generated content is labelled as AI-generated.

Enforcement

Depending on severity, we may:

• refuse a request or remove content;
• block uploads from an account or device after repeated violations (3 refused uploads or texts within 24 hours pause uploads for 24 hours; repeated pauses become permanent); for content that sexualises minors we also block the network address, permanently;
• suspend or permanently close the account;
• withhold credits obtained through abuse;
• report illegal content to law enforcement where required.

Reporting and appeals

To report content that violates this policy, email support@yayvid.com with a link or description. We review reports, usually within 2 business days, and act on confirmed violations. If you believe we took action against you by mistake, reply to our notice or write to the same address and we will review the decision.
